2007 f550 6.0 with 70k miles. blowing white smoke and dripping water from exhaust. well maintained truck with no modifications. head gasket? disconnected egr still blowing.

White smoke can mean a fuel issue or a problem with the egr cooler and egr, however I suspect if you are overheating you are looking at a head gasket issue.

Most likely you are going to have to have a cooling system pressure test to start and then take it from there.

No call is needed, I am pretty deaf as it is. Being diesel it probably won't run rough even with a blown HG. Wasn't really thinking but the overheating is probably due to the exhaust getting into the cooling system and also low coolant if it is leaking.
