I have a 2003 F150. The dial that controls the AC quit

Customer Question

I have a 2003 F150. The dial that controls the AC quit working. I still have AC but it is very low. In the manual I don't see where the 40 amp fuse for the AC is. I want to check the fuse before assuming it is the blower motor resister. Thanks Rick
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: No Just the one under the drivers seat
JA: Are you fixing your F150 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: If I can fix it I will. I am not a mechanic. Hell, I changed the battery once and lost my CD player. Six good CDs inside.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

I am a retired cop. This appears to be a scam. I want my money back now. I am contacting USAA to decline payment.

Okay there are two fuse you need to check for the blower motor. Check the F1-105 fuse located in the under hood fuse panel and the F2-24 located in the interior fuse panel . Check these and post back if you have more questions and or need more help.
