Customer: replied 9 months ago.
No luck
Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

ok. what was the reason for replacing the starter in the first place?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
The old one went out
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Had it tested it was bad
Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

ok. did you replace it with a reman or new?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Not sure probably reman bought it from auto zone this is the 3rd new starter I have put on it 1st 2 were I got from them turned out to be bad
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Could it possibly be the switch or something to do with the switch
Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

ok, if you got it from autozone, chances are its bad again. lets try checking the voltage at the starter solenoid when trying to start.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Ok but I am not near the car at the moment. I probably need to just go get a starter from somewhere else?
Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

that would be my opinion...autozone is horrible

Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

any update?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Not at the moment went out of town am going to go somewhere else this week and get a new starter and try it
Expert:  david craig replied 9 months ago.

Expert:  david craig replied 8 months ago.

hows it going?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
No luck and I am stumped just don't know what else to try
Expert:  david craig replied 8 months ago.

did you replace it again?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
this is the 3rd one I have put on it
Expert:  david craig replied 8 months ago.

ok. you are going to have to ohm out the wiring to the solenoid. ill get you a print

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Got the car started ran a wire from the hot post on the solenoid to the battery and the car started so I am told that means the relay switch is bad
