2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer squeaking noise when driving.

Customer Question

2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer squeaking noise when driving. What could this be?
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: Sounds stronger on right front and about 2 weeks. Not all the time, though
JA: Are you fixing your Explorer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No no no. Nothing
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Have had a leak from back if truck for several weeks. Looks kind of like an oil leak

That would have to be from a motor mount on that side of the motor. Any good mechanic can find this and fix it. You may need all the mounts replaced if they are original.

Thanks, Ron
