JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2006 gt
JA: Are you fixing your GT yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replaced maf with refirbed one problem persist said no signal so I cut the connector off and soldered a new one on still same code
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: I did reset it and I don't remember what code was
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: car stalls its self if not feathered

This circuit also includes the computer too, so I would do some testing on that with a scan tool and a lab scope to see if that's the problem. All your wiring can be good.

what would cause my cpu to be bad everything was fine check light was on and said I was running lean so I tested the maf while I was testing it with a volt meter limp mode light came on I noticed I caused a short in the maf connector so I cut it off and piggy tailed a new one in...so what would cause the cpu to be bad

This is an electronic device that can fail at any time without warning. I've seen many cars that were also struck by lightning and took out every module on the car, it just happens.

Also, the only effective way to test a MAF is with a scope, see attachment. These are just some of many samples to show you that you can't run these tests with a volt meter, the problem would never show up.
