I have a 2007 escape and the radio is not working properly.

i have a 2007 escape and the radio is not working properly. it is stuck on an am radio station and none of the buttons work.
JA: Have you checked the fuse?
Customer: yes
JA: What year is your Station?
Customer: 2007
JA: Are you fixing your Station yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I just played with the fuses and tried disconnecting and re connecting the radio
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that's it

Follow this troubleshooting procedure starting at step A4 at the bottom of page 14,

Let's assume the answer to A4 is no, so let's start with checking them fuses.

VERIFY the smart junction box (SJB) fuse 7 (10A) or fuse 12 (5A) is OK.

Use a voltmeter or at least a 12 volt test light and check both sides of the fuse. You may or may not have to turn the key on but to be sure, just turn the key to run.
