2004 ford freestar. Stalled getting on freeway. now won't

Customer Question

2004 ford freestar. Stalled getting on freeway. now won't start. turns over but no spark.
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: yes it's good. only 1 month old.
JA: Are you fixing your Freestar yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. Fuel pump is fine. Tried replacing alternator and ignition coil. still no spark.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: worried it might be the pcm.

I would scan this for codes. A faulty crank sensor can also cause a no spark condition.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I hooked up a scanner and it pulled no codes. Checked the crank sensor with voltometer it seemed to be working fine.

Crank sensor is checked in Hz.

The guy working with me on it is an electrical engineer - he was using his machine not mine. We compared the output to that of a brand new one they let us check at the auto parts store. I'm not sure how he checked it.

Could be an ecm issue, check the triggering signal at the coil. Also check the power and ground at the coil. Do you need a wiring diagram of the engine harness?

Check all fuses and relays.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
The freestar is notorious for water getting in the pcm. Coil was good. All fuses and relays were good.

Check the rpm signal on the scan tool while cranking.
