Customer Question

Same issue as the clicking "in the dash". 2000 F250 7.3 . Cam sensor? Fuel pump? Other? BTW, I am lucky to get 24 months out of 60 month batteries. Have owned truck since brand new. Thanks.
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: Since I attempted to jumpstart my truck with my Schumacher charger.
JA: Are you fixing your F250 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. I have done all repairs myself since purchased new in 2000. Have replaced alternator, starter solenoid, batteries, and utilize battery maintainers. Truck is babied.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: On last attempt, some smoke came out from radio where the radio is turned on, That is when I stopped. I do have an electronic analyzer and tools.
