I have a 2014 Ford Fusion. My only keys are locked inside

Customer Question

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion. My only keys are locked inside and the battery is dead. How can I get in the vehicle?

HI,

Ok, you will need to purchase an inflatable air wedge at a local parts store that will go between the door and the frame and inflate it to pry the door out enough to use a straightened coat hanger or other long tool to press the door lock switch to open it.

Here is a tutorial on to do this

I already had AAA come out and they couldn't get the door open with the jimmy because the battery is dead.

HI,

Can you open the trunk? And if so, does it have the fold down rear seat option

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Even if I had a key there is no key lock for the trunk.

HI,

Ok, I dont know how else to get in to it outside of possibly removing the front bumper to access the hood latch to manually open the hood to charge the battery and then go from there. I can open this up to other experts to see if they know of a way if you would like

OK - is it difficult to remove the front bumper?
Expert:  Eric replied 6 months ago.

HI,

I just pulled the directions and reviewed them and it has retainer pins that are at the top and require the hood to be opened, so that idea is out the window.

I am not sure at this point what will work. I will opt out and see if another expert may know of a way
