Customer Question

Won't start - battery is good. Anti-theft light blinking. Still will not start with original key even after several hours of waiting.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you tried to reset the computer?
Customer: No. Can I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery?
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2008 Ford Expedition
JA: Are you fixing your Expedition yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Came home from work tonight with my wife reporting that it won't start. It did run all day but got stranded in the garage.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. That's all. Thank you.

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

Is the theft light flashing rapid with the key in the run position?

Is the battery voltage good?

Do you get the same results from both keys?

Will it at least crank?
