I have 2003 supercrew Triton 4.6 liter i use 5w 20 pennzoil

i have 2003 supercrew Triton 4.6 liter i use 5w 20 pennzoil oil i have no leaks exhaust pipe looks new no problem with spark plugs using oil i see no smoking.do you any suggestion what to do or what the problem is . I have 164 k miles.use more oil than gas

Hi Randall,

At 164 k miles, I would run a tihcker oil, like 10w40.

You could also add some PTFE treatment like Nulon E10 or E20.

The first thing to do is remove the breather hoses from the engine and inspect for oil residue, and inside the air inlet duct to the throttle body.

Can you do these little checks and come back with your findings?
