F350 2012 diesel w 76000 miles. No symptoms w starter or warning lights. Currently in nc mountains. Live on coastal plain. Stopped for supper. Came out will not turn over. Solenoid engages and starter tries to turn over but seems to lack strength. Battery tester says 12 volts in both batteries. Lights bright. Light bar bright. Seems to have plenty of power

Been driving most of day in mountains. I'm sure battery owner is ok. Been having loud whining noise after I cut engine off. Dealership said no problem. Don't worry about. Will not harm vehicle
