Customer: yes you can turn the steering wheel. no I think the key is ok it is A copy.
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: it is a 2000 f250 xlt
JA: Are you fixing your F250 yourself? What have you tried so far?

But it has done it two other times.
Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
no
Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

look on the passenger side inner fender , near the blower motor for a single wire , Yellow with red or green . undo the connector and try to jumper the end going towards the engine to the positive battery terminal to see if it cranks over .

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
ok, I will try that and get back to you tomorrow afternoon. Anything else I should know before then?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I just remembered one more thing I should tell you. The batter goes dead in 2 days.
Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

okay well that is a problem also . how old is the battery ? have you cleaned all the battery connections ? Remove them and clean the battery posts and the terminals well with a wire brush and reinstall them making sure that they are tight

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I have already done that. Battery is 2 years old.
Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

okay let me know how you make out tomorrow ! :-)

Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

cheers

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
sorry about the delay, I had some stuff come up and then had trouble getting back on here. I put a brand new battery in it. When I connect the ground, I hear a clicking noise on the drivers side fuse panel under the hood. The closest relay to the firewall is clicking when I put the ground cable on the battery. It still will not do anything by the key. That's as far as I have gone so far. I could not find the wire you had talked about by the blower motor.
Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

is it possible to send me a pic of the solenoid ?

Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

Expert:  Kevin Bourcier replied 5 months ago.

if you take the small wire off the solenoid and jumper awire from the solenoid terminal to the positivr battery post does the engine crank ?
