I put in a new cylinder and did everything the instructions

Customer Question

i put in a new slave cylinder and did everything the instructions said,, except open the brake fluid reservoir, i did but didn't realize there was a seperate reservoir until the clutch still wasn't working properly, any easy way of bleeding the slave valve ?
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: no have to push the clutch all the way to the floor ,, just the peddle does not return to normal for awhile
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 1991 f 250 with 460 and 5 speed
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i have not done anything since putting the slave cyl. in it shifts o.k.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: no,, just that i opened the wrong brake cylinder reservoir when bleeding the slave valve
