Have a 2005 ford explorer. On cold start up it will crank

Have a 2005 ford explorer. On cold start up it will crank then cut back off. Usually does this a couple times. Getting 2 codes P0300 and P0316 Changed the spark plugs little over a year ago. And also changed the egr valve few months ago.

the p 300 is random multiple misfire

The crankshaft sensor will be the first i look at it based on how many i changed on these explorer ? but all the list need checking

have you checked the coil pack is it the original ?

egr passages ,carbon build up are notorious on those ?

the fuel pressure is up to spec did you check ?

is the fuel filter been changed or original ?
