Hi. You request a different expert?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
the "expert" I was given first had no clue about anything. I'm looking for someone with good knowledge and experience working on the Ford 3.5l ecoboost turbo engine. As I originally stated, it shudders under heavy acceleration. I've already read about it extensively on the web, but i'm looking for someone with practical experience solving it. Thanks.

For the revised intercooler the condition of shuddering/stumbling under hard acceleration is on long highway drives in humid or damp weather.

Expert:  EricFromCT replied 2 months ago.

are those the conditions when you notice a shudder?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
No, its anytime under heavy acceleration. Its probably bad plugs as well. I don't know the history on them.
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 2 months ago.

Yes. I agree you should start with the basics. You could at least remove them and see if they look worn. Has the check engine light ever came on?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The code was just for a generic engine misfire.
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 2 months ago.

if you have a specific cylinder misfire you can swap the suspect coil with a different one and see if the cylinder changes

I see you viewed my response. DId you fix your car? do you need any assistance? Let me know so I can continue or close this question. Thanks.
