You are having a module issue with the audio system/SYNC. The problem is there are 3 modules in your system and any one of them can cause this problem. You will have to have the vehicles tested over the network in the vehicle to see what module is not responding to the scan tool or has trouble codes stored in it. The touch screen is the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM), the Audio Control Module (ACM) which plays the CDs and tunes into the stations, the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) which gets all the modules talking to the SYNC system. They will need to properly tested with the proper scan tool to isolate the cause of this problem.
