Working on 2010 f350 and replaced the hpfp and gasket, got

Working on 2010 f350 and replaced the hpfp and gasket , got it to run and was making a exhaust noise so we tore it apart and replaced exhaust gaskets , now it won't start and we are getting p0003 and p0091 , we replaced the gasket and harness again to make sure that wasn't it but still getting those codes

No I was getting a p0088 that is why we replaced the pump

ok, then you most likely have abad HPFP, have you ohmed out beween pins 1 and 2, and also between 3 and 4 of the HPFP?

Yeah there is .03 ohms on each

ok, thisnis the problem, it should be between 1.5 and 1.8 ohms, you have a bad HPFP, where did you purchase it from?

That wasn't the problem changed it again and still the same issue . Which is not a easy repair pulling the cab off and all the work with it. The ohms you gave me was off also the new pump right out of the box read 2.8 and 3.1 hope this info helps someone ended up being a PCM problem .

the factory specs are 1.5 to 1.8 ohms, the chart from the factory says replace it if not within specs, did you try a different ohm meter?
