I have a intermintant stall but when u turn off ignition

i have a intermintant stall but when u turn off ignition switch it fires right back up
JA: Has the car been stalling out?
Customer: yes loses spark and injector pulse
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 1994 ranger 2.3 auto
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: ignition module and ran new ground to module
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: when it stalls if u dont turn igntionj all the way off it wont start if u do it fires right up runs then stalls after a few minutes

The loss of spark and injector pulse can be caused by any of the following,

  • Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
  • Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Wiring
  • Ignition Module
  • Ignition Module Connector
  • Ignition Module Wiring
  • Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
  • Shorted Sensor
  • Shorted Sensor

    In order to determine the cause you are going to need to do some testing on these things. I have enclosed the steps in the link below.
