Have Ford Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you out with your question.
Have you tried spraying carb cleaner in the intake tube to see if it wants fuel?
Does it seem to want fuel or no?
What is your fuel pressure?
Are the plugs wet with fuel?
I would check the fuel pressure.
That would cause a no crank issue, if it was related to the security system.
Some Fords have a fuel pump inertia switch that will cut off the fuel.
Have you checked compression?
Is it the 2.3L?
I remember a lot of older fords with no start issues, have seen a lot of ICM problems it is in the distributor.
You ever had the distributor out?
This has to be a fuel problem. Let me know what your pressure is and we can go from there. Thanks.
Ok sounds good.
Maybe your ecu is bad.
The ecu controls the injectors.
