2006 escape hybrid wont crank. Changed out 12v battery, tried jumping procedure for 330v battery still no crank.
JA: Have you changed a battery before?
Customer: yes
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Well yes. I've tried cleaning grounds that I can reach (2), replace 12 v battery.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: This ecape is not on MECS recall list. I'm in Texas it's hot. I parked vehicle after driving short distances, then it would not start.

Hello, does all the dash lights light up when you turn the key to on like usual? Does the red THEFT lamp flash fast when you turn the key to on or does it stay on steady a few seconds and then go off? If you push in on the key while trying to turn the key to crank will it run?
