I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle AWD. The fuel gauge is below

Customer Question

I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle AWD. The fuel gauge is below empty and I have a PO463. Fuel sending unit is new and has been checked. I can not find the voltage specs for this truck. I have got battery voltage at the plug when it is unplugged from the pump but when I plug it back in the voltage drops to 0. I have read that the Freestyle has issues with the ground on this system and that they offer a upgrade kit but Ford has never heard of it. Thanks!

was this a facotory fuel pump?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
It had had original factory pump but was replaced with an Precision pump. The original passed a resistance test. I don't think it was the problem.
