JA: Did you test the battery with a voltmeter? And have you ever changed one before?
Customer: I haven't the battery is new and the battery light has been on
JA: What is the model of your '07 Ford?
Customer: f150 stx 4x4 pu
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: looking for a bad fuse or a loose wire I am in a remote area
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: before it went out it made a sound like I ran over something but nothing was in the road and nothing fell off

If the battery light is on that usually means your alternator is not charging. How does the belt look?
