Where is the fuel water separator on a 2003 ford e350 cargo

Customer Question

where is the fuel water separator on a 2003 ford e350 cargo van 7.3 diesel?
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Yeah the flight has starting coming on though indicating that there is water in the fuel lines
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, it just needs to be drained, I just can't find the handle to drain the water from the lines
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: 2003 Ford F-350 trucks have a yellow lever for this purpose next to the yellow transmission dipstick but this is not present in the e350 cargo vans. It's a 7.3 liter diesel

Hello, on the e series there is usually a lever on the top under the hood. The water separator lever is on the back side of the fuel filter housing. For ease of use some e series had a leer on top that you pulled.

It looks like the lever is missing. Do you know where I can look to find what it pulled?

Would the fuel water seperator have been relocated in the cargo vans that are converted into van ambulances?

They could have yes. Do you have a photo you can send
