there is no c.b. in that spot and looks like never was no connectors in the holes

That is the diagram that I have for a 1990 F250. Yours is different somehow.

I will opt out since mine isn't right.

here is the wiring diagram for both 2 speed and the interval and I don't see a fuse in either.
