Have Ford Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi, I'm Chad ,Welcome To JustAnswer, I'm reviewing your question and I will be be posting a replay ASAP
ok so do you still need help , or i can ask customer service to close it ?
just let me know
wee we have to address the codes you cleared just caused does not mean but the problem dont exist , the pcm have not thrown the flag yet for a check engine light , if your tps is not working then yes you want have acceleration ?
Try this if you have not already and let me know
Master reset Procedure
1- Disconnect Battery Cables ( Negative & Positive Cables )
2- Hold cables Together for 20 secs ,then let go
3- Wait 10 minutes
4- Make sure all doors are closed
5- Reconnect battery Cables
6- Lock & unlock the vehicles using the key from (if you have a key fob with no blade key, just lock & unlock using the key fob buttons)7- Enter the vehicle and attempt to start
you have to do the disconnect for 10 min
but if it doesn't we need to have the fault codes red in the anti theft module?
so we can know which part of the anti theft system is malfunctioning, the key, the receiver the antenna the module , the door switch etc ..
is this first time it happens ?
do the disconnect and see what happens
if the reset did not solve it, you need a capable scanner to retrieve fault codes at this point unfortunately , the anti theft is connected to the pcm, if it does not sends a signal that it recognized the key the pcm want allow start up, there is not a fuse you can pull unfortunately to solve it ?
i m sorry but these system are all integrated now days
