Welcome,

I have been a professional master mechanic for over 35 years and am happy to help you with this.

Can you tell if its the front or rear brakes that are grabbing?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
not really, its just the touch of the pedal then it stops hard making you wanna kiss the steering wheel
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 5 months ago.

has there been any brake work lately(other than bleeding) or did this just happen all at once?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
the rear brakes was changed, also when I looked under the truck notice the wire for Proportioning valve was disconnected I spliced the wires back together and connected the harness. I pulled the codes from the RABS and the light blink 16 times. what code is 16
Customer: replied 5 months ago.

It sounds like a bad proportioning valve. Did u try and disconnect it

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
is there anyway of testing that valve?
it cost 600$
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 5 months ago.

Unfortunatly there is not a way to test it. You might try a salvage yard in your area or even use the link below to see if you can find one close.
