The theft light keeps blinking and it won't let me start my van
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you tried to reset the computer?
Customer: How do u reset the computer
JA: Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Well my boyfriend unlocked the passenger side instead if the driver side and when he went to start the car the theft light came on and now it won't stop blinking and I can't start my van it a 1999 ford winstar van
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes I can't sleep until I know everything is okay
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: Taking the battery to reset it, unlocking and locking the car again , letting it stay on for a while but nothing g is working

Customer: Nope that's it the baterry works fine its just the anti theft light keeps blinking and I can't start my van

Master Reset Procedure

1-Disconnect battery ( Both Cables ,The Negative & The Positive Cable )
2-Touch Cables together and hold 20 secs and let go
3-Hold Brake pedal down 10 secs, then let go
4-Wait 10 minutes
5-Close all the doors ,hood & trunk

6-and then Reconnect Battery
7-lock the car with key from driver door ( IF your car is Equipped with a bladeless key then just locked with the keyFob)
8- Unlock car & Start your vehicle
