Customer Question

92, Ford F-250 7.3 Diesel. Only 90,000 miles.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with Ford. The Ford Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Have 92 Ford F-250 7.3 Diesel. 90,000 on truck Brand new pump and ejection system
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Been sitting for a year in country has a rapid drip drip fuel leak only when running. I think it's in the return line, runs great, no sucking air.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Ford Mechanic should know about your Ford?
Customer: Found "Nuts" in air filter before starting it. I think something has been living in it. Mice chipmunks Etc. Maybe a mouse ate thru the return line? Need diagram for fuel system including return line and double tanks maybe?
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Ford Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 11 months ago.
only think I can think off if it been sitting for a while those fuel line run next to the frame , I would follow them from tank to engine bay and visually see where its coming from
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Thank you, ***** ***** I still need to know how and what size to replace.
That's why a Diesel Mechanic will be most helpful. They will know where the
"rubber meet the steel", up in front of the engine that is Not under pressure.
And what size fuel line I will need .
You have a great dsy and please transfer me to the Diesel man.
Next time my gas engine truck breaks down, I will look for you.
