F-53: I have a 98 Coachmen Mirada class A motorhome on a 97

Customer Question

I have a 98 Coachmen Mirada class A motorhome on a 97 Ford f53 chassis. The A/C does not blow cold. Only down to 60 degrees (tested with a thermometer in the dash vent).

Hi. The low side should be down around 30 psi. An overfilled or underfilled system can cause this concern. It would be helpful to know the high side pressure as well. And it is a good idea to start from scratch by putting in the correct amount of freon, as indicated on the ac service sticker. Do you know how much freon total is in the system?
