Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose). I normally log in after 3 pm central. Please make sure to let me know exactly what is needed from me so I can provide EXCELLENT 5 STAR service. What liter engine?Have you monitored the fuel pressure during this event?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Its a 4.0 no i haven't monitored fuel pressure but have changed regulator

Thanks, ***** ***** fuel pressure is the first step. We want to make sure its not dropping low during this from a weak pump pr restricted filter. Next we need to check the plugs to see if there is a sign some cylinders are running lean or rich. Next I recommend a compression check. Can you do these things? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------On your screen at the top you should see a rating 1-5 stars and a green submit button. Please make sure to select one and press submit. I am not compensated by the website unless a customer rates. Rating only pays me from the deposit you have already made, it does not charge you more, nor close the post. Also all follow ups are free and welcome. Thanks Chris

Yes I should be able to do these things. I have already pulled plugs and inspected them though

Checked fuel pressure its 10 with key on and about 19-20 with truck running and under a load..
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 7 months ago.
Key on engine off the pressure should be 35-45 psiIdling the pressure should be 30-45 psiSo we need to check and see if the filter is clogged next, if okay then a pump replacement is needed.
