Focus: Intermittently, my 2012 ford focus will not start.

Intermittently, my 2012 ford focus will not start. Battery is ok but it doesn't even click or turn over. After it sits for ashort time it starts right up.

greetings,try to look at the instrument cluster and see if the PRNDL display is working.

I did have a no start on a focus like yours that hard to find.when it finally did the no start, I did not what position the trans was in(Park) on the instrument cluster TCM(transmission control module) was failing. Replaced the TCM and customer never brought the car back for not starting.

it could be a connector/pin fit issue. The dealership could verify this if the have an advanced scanner and try to communicate with all the modules when it does this.
