Hello, when the airflow is limited to the defroster panel only this is usually due to a vacuum leak to the ac control panel. There is a vacuum supply line that runs from the engine to the right side of the underhood area by the ac evaporator case. It has a check valve in line and runs behind the evaporator box. Inspect the vacuum line for being disconnected or having a leak, if it looks ok, there is a vacuum tank on the back of the evaporator case that can crack over time. Verify you have vacuum at the hose and at the control panel. You can put a vacuum tank on without pulling the evaporator case out by mounting a new one remotely inside the vehicle, just need to run a vacuum line through the fender and kickpanel on the right side to make it work. Common issue on E Vans
