Taurus: Normally my 2013 Ford Taurus turns over and starts

Customer Question

Normally my 2013 Ford Taurus turns over and starts immediately. Now it kind of "chugs" when I turn it over, however it is starting. I'm also getting a message saying BATTERY SAVER - SYSTEM OFF. That message comes on when I shut to car off.

Hello my name is ***** ***** sounds from your description as if you may have a battery that is weak, or possibly a charging system issue that is not keeping the battery fully charged causing a slow cranking condition. Have you tested the battery?
Expert:  Scott W. replied 8 months ago.
I would have the battery tested, check the charging system, you may have a bad cell in the battery, when this happens the battery stills works, just doesn't crank over as fast as it used to.
