the instrument cluster needs to be pulled to access the bulb

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  1. Pull out the center instrument panel finish panel.

1Remove the screws.

2Pull out the center instrument panel finish panel assembly.

  1. Remove the radio and center instrument panel finish panel.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  1. Remove the hood latch release handle.

  1. Remove the instrument panel steering column cover.

2Remove the instrument panel steering column cover.

  1. If equipped, position the column gear shift lever aside.

  1. Pull out the cluster finish panel.

1Remove the screws.

2Pull out the cluster finish panel.

  1. Remove the cluster finish panel.

1Disconnect the connectors.

2Remove the cluster finish panel.

  1. Remove the instrument cluster lens and mask assembly.

1Remove the screws.

2Remove the instrument cluster lens and mask assembly.

INSTALLATION

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
