Code 41 doesn't necessarily mean the Oxygen sensor has to be replaced; it just means the sensor is detecting a lean condition. This lean condition can be caused by several things like air leaks in the exhaust, vacuum leaks in the engine, not enough fuel getting into the cylinders, and more.

What size engine are you working with.
