I have a 2011 f550 in our shop and it had dropped a valve

Customer Question

I have a 2011 f550 in our shop and it had dropped a valve and ruined the engine. We got a low mile used engine that was mostly drop in ready. Today we got it running and it stays in limp mode with no codes. Speed limited to around 5mph. We looked over everything many times and cannot find anything unhooked or unplugged. We tried doing a manual regen and it will not complete it. The scan tool stated that the particulate is plugged. Since there are no codes where the heck do we start on our diag. The truck was running perfect right up until it blew up. Please help.

Hello, if you can't get it out of limp mode I would recommend having the PCM updated. Do you get a error for exhaust fluid at all?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
No, no def fluid errors at all

Do you have an IDS scan tool?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
No I don't own one. We use a snap on solus pro. But I do have access to an IDS
