I just bought a 2009 Ford Expedition XLT. when I drive

Customer Question

I just bought a 2009 Ford Expedition XLT. when I drive between 30-40 mph there is a mild vibration/grinding type sound. It almost feels like you are going over rumble strips but without the noise. I've tried looking it up and sites I've found have suggested anything from using a different fuel type, to an oil change to a transmission problem. Any ideas?

Hello, if you drive faster does the noise get worse?

No, it goes away, it only does it off and on and only between 30-40 mph

Does it make a difference if you are accelerating or coasting?
