I have changed out the cop and the plugs, haD mifire on cly 8 repaired the the plug with a new one, I now have lost connetion with my scan tool, lost instr. panel the truck will not start turns over but no start 2000 expedition 5.4

I need to correct some info the check engine is on with the key on during cranking the check engine stays on I will check the data link power

Do you understand how to test each wire for each key position?

The check engine light remaining on while cranking indicates the PCM is not getting a crank sensor signal.
