Yes, I can help you.

What black button are you holding down?

Do you have the immobilizer key?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The black button on the dashboard. The ford dealer told me to try that and it should disarmed the anti-theft flashing but it didn't. I have the original key.
Expert:  Jeromy Madison replied 1 year ago.

It is an issue with the immobilizer. It might be your key or might be the computer.

Have you tried to disconnect the battery yet?

I would try to disconnect the battery cables from the battery and wait for at least 30 minutes.

done that already and the key works.

Not the key, the immobilizer portion of the key, correct?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What is that? Sorry I don't know what you mean. Please explain?
Expert:  Jeromy Madison replied 1 year ago.

Built into the key is a special chip that sends out a special signal to the car to let it know that it is the correct key for the car. Then the computer allows the engine to start.

If the computer does not recognize the key, then it will turn over but not start the engine.

The key was check. The is no problem with the key. Please help.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Are you still there?
Expert:  Jeromy Madison replied 1 year ago.

How was the key checked? It is not possible to check to see if the immobilizer is working with having it connected to the vehicle and a scan tool to see if the computer is recognizing the key.

I am sorry.

Can you post a picture of this button you are holding down to start the vehicle?
