Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.
Can we check and see if it has spark or not or do we just have to do the testing assuming it has no spark and see if we can find something wrong?
Let me know what you find.
Sorry I had to run out for a while. Just a moment.
Alright. Check fuse 33 in the interior fuse panel both for being good and having voltage to it with the key on.
Does it have voltage?
Something is keeping it from cranking now?
So it doesnt have an injector pulse either?
Using either a test light or noid light at the injector connector watching for the light to flash while cranking. I assumed you already checked that to determine it was a bad crank sensor. Since it wont crank you need to fix that first though.
As I said the no crank needs to be corrected first. It will not light a noid light when it wont crank.
Oh. You said it wasnt cranking now. Guess I was confused.
Check the crank sensor output with a multimeter. Disconnect the connector and connect your meter between the two terminals of the sensor while cranking the engine and let me know how many volts you got. Set your meter to AC volts.
I wouldnt expect a 12 VDC test light to light off of .5 VAC
All your test results prove is that we dont know.
Sorry for the delay. I have been away. The timing cover is going to have to come off to see what is damaged in there. Something in the timing is damaged causing the damage to the crank sensors. Once you figure out whats broken we can see what to do next. If possible once you get the timing cover off give me some pictures.
