99 7.3 350 blowing blue smoke when warm really bad around 40 mph lack of power on accelerate sometimes if I turn power button on dash it will pickup power even if I turn it right back down

Hello, blowing blue smoke is a sign of the engine burning oil.You may have an injector(s) seal leaking into the cylinder and burning oil and reducing power. A diagnostic check for codes with a scan tool will probably show some cylinder contribution codes or identify a misfire or idm code for an injector fault.Would need to see what code(s) are stored first and evaluate the base engine/compression to make sure there are no other major issues with the motor.But most likeley a failed injector oring or injector fault

Yup, its burning oil for some reason and this is the most common issue, just a question of what cylinder(s) are affected

They sell aftermarket kits with injector cups, injectors and all,would be a good idea to at least replace all the injector o rings if that is the case
