2006 f550 6.8
Catalytic Converter keeps going out. Put 3 on in the last 9 months. Vehicle runs good with no check engine light until the Catalytic Converter goes bad. They seem to get very hot from the get go ( has major heat discolor after a week or two).

Ok, when they burn out that quickly and getting that hot, the engine is either running super lean or super rich, so we need to start with fuel pressure check, vacuum or intake leaks, O2 sensor readings, and fuel trim readings to see if it is rich or lean condition and go from there
