I HAVE A 88 F150 (4WD)--DUEL FUEL TANKS---THE REAR TANK WILL BLEED OFF INTO THE FT TANK---ALSO THE FT FUEL GUAGE WILL REGISTER FULL WHEN THE TANK IS EMPTY.-----THE REAR FUEL GUAGE WORKS CORRECTLY, COULD THIS BE A FAULTY SWITCH?-----THANKS---GRANSER

Hello,Ford came out with an inline check valve to install to the fuel pumps to stop this concern. As for the fuel gauge, it is most likely an issue with the sender in the tank that is not working properly. It should only read full if you ground the sender wire, the float tends to crack and fill up with fuel and can give false readings as well.
