Customer Question

Any advice on cleaning the IMRC components, other than replacing parts? Was told possible bad solenoid or bad intake manifold due to carbon buildup.

Hi. There is no cleaning of the solenoid. Inside the intake is butterfly valves that open and close. Sometimes carbon can build on the intake ports and cause restricted movement. To inspect or clean the butterfly valves you need to remove the intake manifold.
