Customer Question

When I turn the key over, I hear one loud click coming from the starter. I replaced the battery, starter & solenoid, and the starter relay fuse. Still the same problem.

Have you checked the negative battery cable and terminal? This is commonly overlooked and I have seen this problem before.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I checked all the cables.

What is the condition of the cable? You will need to perform a voltage drop test to find out if you have good ground or not.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The cable is in good condition. I don't have a voltmeter to test with.

There are only a couple of things that can cause this issue. You obviously are getting power to your solenoid. So you are either not getting proper power or ground from your battery. Have you tried to jump start it?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I did try to jump start it. Still the same thing.
