Can you keep the engine running if you give it a little gas while stopping?

One very common cause for this type of stalling on your 2009 can be caused by sludge build up in the throttle body, I would start with removing the negative battery cable and then remove the throttle body and give it a good cleaning with some carb cleaner and a soft cloth. After doing so reinstall it and start the engine and let it idle for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the computer to relearn the closed throttle valves. If you give me your engine size, I will send you the removal steps.
