Heat not working on 2002 ford Taurus replaced thermo had radiator flushed yesterday was getting a little heat for a couple of minutes before the flush now nothing

Hi. Flushing the heater core and radiator very seldom work if they are actually plugged up. If you run the vehicle until it is hot, are both heater core hoses hot to the touch? Not just warm, hot. THey should be just as hot as the upper radiator hose.
