Hello, was this a Ford wheel bearing that was used?

I looked up the part but can't find a lot of details. Before you mounted the wheel speed sensor did you look inside the bearing to see if the tone ring was in the wheel bearing?

Expert:  James replied 1 year ago.

It sounds to me like the wheel bearing isn't equipped for abs. Do you by chance have a photo or anything?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The tone ring is not visible on the original nor replaced wheel bearing (bearings were identical). I reinstalled old bearing and ABS code cleared and remained off. I have since purchased/ installed another new bearing. ABS code remains off. To that end, 1st new bearing must have been defective.
