Customer Question

I have a 1995 ford explorer sport. Yesterday I was driving and the car started to "choke" and then it cut off. I tried starting it up, and it started but when I tried to step on the gas there was no power it was choking and cut off again. What could be
the problem?

Did you get a check engine light on the dash? If you can get the computer scanned for codes it will help tremendously.

Does it idle ok, but choke when you give it gas?
